Sister Maryann Agnes Mueller, CSSF joined over 700 participants for the 16th Ecumenical Advocacy Days which was held April 20-23 at the Doubletree Inn in Washington, DC.  The theme this year resonated with Pope Francis’ “Share the Journey Campaign”, A World Uprooted: Responding to Migrants, Refugees and Displaced People and the Pope was cited numerous times during the meeting. The participants went to Capitol Hill on Monday to lobby their legislators concerning the DREAM Act, immigration and refugee policies, and immigrant detention.
